In last weeks session, the children had fun making Apple Muffins with a crruumbly topping! This involved rubbing the butter into the sugar & spices to make fine crumbs...they loved squishing the butter between their little fingers...so much that we overdid it & went from crumbs to clumps! No problem... we turned our crumble into clumpy topping which looked delicious. Our Little Sparrows chefs maybe starting new culinary trend so watch this space!
